Then again, who needs to go to Naples or Fort Myers when Coconut Point shopping center is right in our front yard? Coconut Point is a stunning Mediterranean-inspired outdoor mall featuring upscale shops and restaurants such as the Apple Store, Barnes & Noble, Blue Water Bistro, and Ruth's Chris Steak House. Coconut Point is also the home of one of the best movie theaters in Southwest Florida, featuring seats that are so comfortable that you just might sleep through anything boring!

Wildcat Run, Grandezza, Stoneybrook, West Bay Club, Pelican Sound, Fountain Lakes, Villages of Country Creek, Old Corkscrew, Raptor Bay, Shadow Wood, Spring Run, Copperleaf, Estero Country Club, Bonita Bay and Bonita Bay West. . .we could be here all day. Like Coconut Point, Gulf Coast Town Center is an outdoor shopping destination in South Fort Myers. With stores and restaurants like Bass Pro Shops, Blu Sushi, Connors Steak and Seafood, Golf Galaxy, LA Fitness, Best Buy, and Costco, Gulf Coast Town Center is the only place you'll ever need to go! Southwest Florida is famous for its pristine white-sand beaches. Naples, Sanibel Island, and Fort Myers Beach are usually buzzing with tourists year-round, but if you're looking for a chance to experience Southwest Florida's beaches in a quieter setting, there is always Barefoot Beach Preserve or Lover's Key State Park (so named because it was once so remote only lovers would take the trouble of going there. Don't worry though, now they are easy to reach, but still not as well-known as the busier beaches in the area. And no despite what some of Estero's earlier residents may have thought, the horizon on our beaches doesn't curve upward!
And finally...(drumroll please!)
