This was Tristan's first time in a Trader Joe's store. This one is in Nob Hill a couple of blocks from the Fairmont Hotel where we stay when we visit San Francisco.

He found it very interesting how creative the architect for Trader Joe's was in managing the space that is tight, small and very expensive. He made comments about how the store was laid out, how the entrance and the path leading to the entrance was multi level allowing for more room to display the food products.

Just another reason why we love homeschool so much:)

That's one smart kid you have there, Katerina! I love the Fairmont! I spent my 40th birthday there in a corner room that had an incredible view of the bay.

DeeDee- I love the Fairmont too. I am blessed to be able to stay there for a week each year as one of our sons is the Chef there in the fine dining room. He creates the entire menu! It is one of my favorite trips each year!!! My grandparents lived in SF for 40+ years. I spent most of my weekends in SF during my pre-teen and first teen years. I lived in SF for 3 years as a teen. Love SF!

Patricia- Seeing my Chef son is the highlight- he is the Chef of the Fairmont there. I love SF but love seeing one of our sons more:) He is also Tristan's favorite brother so we have a blast each year for a week there.

Ann- We don't have Trader Joe's here in Wellington or near by anywhere. I do love Whole Foods though.

Nestor and Katarina, we JUST got a Trader Joe's in my area. I love it so far, at least what I could tell from negotiating the huge crowds. Glad Tristan enjoyed yours!
