Keep Stress at Bay During Your Move to Glenview

2. Take Breaks During This Busy Time. You don't go to your regular job and work eight or ten hours without a break do you? Well, when you're packing and getting ready for that big move, you also need a break now and then. So take a deep breath and stop working and instead take the kids to see a movie, take the dog for a walk, read a book, watch some mindless TV, or just take a short nap.

3. Eat Right. Don't get so busy that you forget to eat! And while you're at it, don't live on junk food during this time. If necessary, go out to eat, but don't just eat snack cakes and drink cola all day long. You need good food to keep your energy level up and your stress level down.

4. Take Time to Adjust. Your new life is calling, but you don't want to start it half-sick from stress and overwork. You also don't want to jump into it headfirst without assessing which things are the best ones for you and your family to get involved with. There will probably be lots of opportunities for you and your children to join in with the community at school, church, and job functions, but take your time and get involved a little at a time.
