I last wrote about the power of Focus, journaling, and today's topic revolves solely around one question?

HOW IS THE MARKET?

Challenge: the answer can be a slippery slope!

Why, well lets address this point. In today's market we need to be careful what we focus on be use we can be pulled off our target quite easily. Here are a few responses you might hear:

  • It's tough
  • There's no listings
  • No one will approve my offer
  • I can't fight with cash investors
  • The banks are not co-operating on short sales.
  • I need an REO Account
  • This is the worst market ever!
HAVE YOU HEARD ANY OF THESE?

The 80/20 principle applies here too... The EEYORE's of the world far outnumber those succeeding, so find a way to plug into people that are, and build each other up. AVOID NAYSAYERS, OR TOXIC PERSONALITIES, because eventually thy will bring you down.

We choose what we focus on and we need to focus on what we can control, and its starts with our MINDSET. FOCUS ON HELPING PEOPLE, AND LEAD WITH A SERVANTS HEART, and good things will follow.  Challenge yourself to be different from the masses, and control your own success.

I once heard someone say, whether the market is good or bad, people will still need to buy or sell real estate!

Consumers are hungry for education and help, if we stay in touch, and plugged into our industry that we can truly help homeowners in times of trouble or Jubilee!

LONG STORY SHORT- THE MARKET IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT! ( just like life!)

HOW DO YOU STAY POSTIVE & Focused?

In my mind there is no such thing as a "bad market"...it is either a seller's market or a buyer's market.
