There's no place like home and We’re Back! After 16 days and 2800 road miles we have returned home to, Albuquerque, New Mexico. As they say it is great to get away and take a vacation but in reality there's no place like home.

We certainly enjoyed our trip, seeing family, playing with grand-kids and catching up with many friends. Business did follow along and thanks to modern technology I was able to keep transactions in motion and on track. Thanks to each of you for your loyalty of following our blog during our travels. We appreciate each of you and look forward to engaging with you more soon. We’re back and its good to be home!

Greetings friends in the Rain -

Thanks for dropping today and for welcoming us home. For the record this was the first time I had been back east in the Fall. We normally go at Christmas to see the kids enjoy Santa. What a beautiful area and bright colors! I kept telling Debbie I don't see how you left this awesome country and all it offers. Anyway glad she did and glad we got to enjoy a good time with our travels and visit.

We appreciate you guys following along on our daily posts and being our friends in and out of the Rain. You guys are amazing ..... YOU ARE THE RAIN!

Welcome home John & Debbie! If you hadn't told us that you were going out of town, we probably wouldn't have noticed (and likely neither your clients). It's amazing what we can get accomplished via iPhone & iPad, social Media, Cloud ... you name it. Not everyone returns home, and is glad "to be back". I was gone for a week, and it sure felt good to pull into the driveway, take a good look around, appreciate the beauty, "peace & quiet", and the comfort of my own rural home. It was so QUIET..... I was visiting my Mom, and she lives on a busy street with lots of traffic going to the church down the street, and a excavator that is next door (even though she lives on 1.5 ac.) and he starts his equipement at 6:30.... beep, beep beep..... drove me "nuts"! Yes, I WAS glad to be home......
