Farm-food value chain research project- you are invited to participate in this interesting project-a research effort from the team based at East Carolina University in partnership with Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project, and Center for Environmental Farming Systems.
The farm-food value chain -ECU Center for Sustainable Tourism is looking to identify the gaps and barriers along the farm-food value chain in North Carolina and is recruiting a panel of experts from various fields and disciplines.
" We would love to invite people from all fields and disciplines; feel free to forward to others who you feel may be interested."
Personally, I like the idea of unearthing gaps and barriers in the food value chain. This will be done in two phases: 1) review of the list and response in terms of issues missing and 2) selection of the “top ten” issues from the list believed most important to that level of the food system. Each phase of input should not take more than ten minutes.
If you (or someone you know) might be interested in participating in this study, please respond to this email with your name and contact information. Again, people from all fields and disciplines ae invited; feel free to forward to others who you feel may be interested.
