How Much Contact Should You Make?  (Members Only)

Ever wonder whether you're marketing too much, or not enough?  These models from the book, "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" by Gary Keller are based on the experience of the top agents in the country.  My clients who stick with these recommendations report even better results than the book states.

It's all about automated systems-when most agents get busy, the contacts go away because they get away from the constant need to prospect!

I've read it takes nine 'touches' to make a relationship.  Do you all agree?

Seems like my "touches" are right in line.  Thanks for the information.

I agree that keeping in touch is key! I currently use a system that is very similar to this. Categorizes the clients by hot, warm, and cold. Also the system that I use not only keeps my name in front of the clients by way of email but it also takes care of the mailings of newsletters and postcards.... automatically.

I prefer the High Touch High tech method.  I use a system called http://sendoutcards.com/15166 to keep in contact with my clients.  I alows me to add them to my contact database and send them real greeting cards at least 6 times a year.  The system let me add my own handrwriting sample and my own signature and uses them to write the cards.  It has a campaign system so I can put the customer in various campaigns automatically.  The print, sign and mail the cards for me.

I get the advantage of being high touch and high tech at the same time.

My cards are opened 98% of the time and are 11 times more effective than any other mailing piece.  People expect to see my cards throught the year.

I can even make custom cards with my digital camera for farming, open house invites, or any other occasion.  Take a picture in front of a home a prospect really likes and send them a card with their picture on it.  They show it to everyone.  I put an image of my business card inside as a graphic.

If you want to try it out go to the url I put on top and use the id free_cards and password free and send out a couple of cards to friends or loved ones.  Bring joy to someones life and you will be rewarded over and over.

Good old fashioned give them a call and make contact. This year one of my goals is more people contact. Face to face with less hide behind the desk and internet or email.
