Pumpkin Carving Contest at Bear Bend Cabin



Grab your pumpkin and everything you need to decorate or carve it and join the Sam Houston Memorial Museum staff at the Bear Bend Cabin on Thursday Night, October 25, 2012  from 4 PM to 7 PM. $3.00 Donation recommended.


 

Prizes will be given to each category. Youth: age  6-18  AND Community Member: 19 and older.


 

Parents are encouraged to let their children to their own work. If you would like to participate, bring your own pumpkin! ☺


 

If you need a pumpkin, the youth from First United Methodist Church in Huntsville are selling pumpkins at their Pumpkin Patch. Help out the First United Methodist Youth Department and have a little fun at the same time!!

Joni, Some people have such creativity when it comes to carving pumpkins. I had a neighbor that was a surgeon and he was incredible making creations in his children's pumpkins with his scalpel. Such detail.
