My mom always told me what the Roman's say... it's the finger that sends the blood straight to your heart therefore the "closest" to your heart.  I'm going with that.

I think I had read this before and it is interesting. Once again I tried to do the finger thing still can't do it.

Now the Chinese moving the hands around for the life partner finger story I had never heard before. That vein going to the heart one I have heard a lot and almost everyone says that Roman one is a myth. Cool things you find all the time Sharon. 

Well the explanation of this is really very interesting. As why do we wear a wedding ring or our Engagement Ring on forth finger, the reason behind this is people says the nervous of forth finger goes directly to your heart so that makes your relation strong and everlasting.
