What a wonderful place this is!  I am A SUCKER FOR MORE POINTS, so here is my contest entry post on what has happened since I joined Active Rain!

"Testimonials in the Rain" - What's YOUR Story?   As a request from Rich Jacobson, from Active Rain, here is my story

I have been a member since September 19, 2007 only four short months.  I am now #9 in Pennsylvania, #2 in Bucks County, and #1 in Quakertown.  My points have grown over 73,000.  2 Featured Posts!  On and on!

I appeared on the front page of the real estate section of the Lehigh Valley's Morning Call on December 2, 2007  This was a direct result of my activity on Active Rain.  This feature article was about blogging, and marketing Real Estate on the Internet in 2008!  This became my first featured post and I received 163 comments, and 1,424 views.

This article generated much excitement, and some people referred to me as Mr. Active Rain!  LOL!

Initially, I signed up for my profile page on Active Rain and that very evening received a call to list a property, as at that time I was the only Realtor in Quakertown, and on Active Rain. 

One of my favorite Blogs, and one that did not get many views, was All I did was ask: Do you have time to look at another house?

My buyers were out looking at my new A|R listing, and I asked if they had time to see another house.  They fell in love with it and they bought it.  I also listed and sold their home, and these too, were a direct result of my time on Active Rain.

Since then, I have sold the initial A|R listing, and have just this weekend sold another home to a couple that called on my sign on my first A|R listing. 

In addition, I received a call from a man from Upper State New York, who read my blog, and wanted to see a house I had listed.  He actually rented it.  When I met them, they told me I looked just like my picture in Active|Rain, but I did not have the frame around my head in person that said Happy Holidays, like my A|R profile did during the Holidays!

So now I have five deals in four months as a direct result of my efforts here on Active Rain.

I have referrals, both in and out, that are in the works, that I have received from friends I have met in the Rain.

I was also featured in a blog by Brian Block, founder of the Active|Rain Block Party, in a post called Toast to Success!
