Hi Andrea, I was just saying this to a client yesterday. You're soooo right, a buyer KNOWS the home they want to live in when they walk through those doors. We can video a home..or send pictures to an out of state client..but I wish we could bottle "feelovision"..cuz that is what moves most to buy.
Hi Cindy, "feelovision" that sums it up perfectly! Can I steal that from you? I love it when I can tell as well and don't even need to ask whether or not this is the one!
We all buy differently don't we... Takes Debbie and I a full day just to make decisions in the grocery store. You should have seen us deciding on which home to purchase. We agreed we'd HATE to be our Realtor®.... LOL
LOL John! Decision making doesn't always come easy .. I'm glad you 2 could agree in the end!
Andrea - This is a fantastic post! The home buying process is different for everyone. I've had people who have found the right home upon opening the first door -- but they feel like they're doing something wrong if they move ahead. I've asked clients if they would bypass their soulmate because he/she was their first date... ;-) When it's right, it's right. I just ask that you have some sort of focus so we do narrow the frog pond a bit. :-)
Thanks Brenda! Love your response and so true. When it's right, it's right. I always ask how they would feel if someone else were to buy the home.
