Looking for a great way to enjoy your Sunday, October 28th in Palm Springs, California? Then come early to find yourself a great seating area at this year’s 2012 Golf Cart Parade because the parade route fills up quickly. This festive event started in the 1960’s and it’s been a favorite around town every year since.

You need to bring your portable chairs, blankets, and cameras, because there is a lot to see! The parade starts at 1:00 pm, but many have “claimed” their seating area hours beforehand. There is a full list of activities planned for the day, including the Palm Desert Rotary Pancake Breakfast, face painting, rock climbing, clown entertainment, the Golf Cart Parade itself with Marching Bands and golf carts decorated like you’ve never seen a golf cart like that before! There is plenty of food enjoy, or you can bring your own and have a picnic while watching the parade. Last year over 15,000 attended the golf cart parade. Inquires came from Japan, France, Germany and the Philippines.

Golf cart parade sounds fun.  If I was still living in Orange County I would come out and participate but the commute now would be just too far from Texas

Hi John and Irma:

Thanks for "stopping By" and I can see that it would be quite a hike to attend the parade all the way form Texas! LOL
