After 20 years since the last improvement, the long awaited project will finally begin in the summer of 2013. That's right! On September 28th, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced that it would begin its improvement of the US Route 23 and I-270 Interchange next summer.
The project would eliminate the dangerous weaving patterns of traffic at the entrances and exits as well as the "trenched" northound lane on Route 23. Instead, drivers can expect redesigned ramps that will create addtional safety and improved traffic patterns.
