"There is no duty we so much underrate as the duty of being happy."
Robert Louis Stevenson

Here's to your New Day!  Why not make this New Day a day that you deliberately choose to do something that will make you happy.  In fact, why not take it a step further and do something that will result in you experiencing happiness throughout this entire New Day.

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony." Mahatma Gandhi

Today be so happy that when others look at you they become happy too.

Beth, Now if we can just get everyone else to cooperate with our plans for today :)  The knuckleheads aren't going to be allowed to win!

I hope a lot of people read this, and the thought catches on. Today is full of possibilities. Maybe my buyer will finally see the house he wants today, and we'll write an offer. I woke up and my teenager is sick and can't make it to school. That's fine. It's not the end of the world, and by tomorrow we will only have today as a memory and another missed school day won't matter so much. It's a fine day, and it might even rain. We really need that. The drinking water is starting to taste funny because it's coming off the bottom of the reservoirs, so any moisture would be appreciated. Who knows what will happen today. It's full of possibilities.

(My daughter has a chronic medical condition we fight constantly. We also fight the school because of all the missed days. Today's illness doesn't have anything to do with that condition, but we hate to see her miss another day of school, and the school hassels us.)

Great advice, being happy is not something that is just going to happen you have to seek it out and demand it in your life.

It is easy to become overly focused on business rather than doing the things that will bring happiness to ourselves and our families.

Enjoy the colors of autumn with your camera in hand.

I am  committed to being happy everyday.  I say thank you 100 times daily to the lord for all my blessings and gratitude.  Everyday I write down things that I am grateful for and I say thank you 3 times.  It is so fufilling and keeps me smiling.

Thank you
