Ok, here's what happened. My wife came by the office today to change vehicles with me. I drive a dual cab Toyota Tundra and she drives a Chrysler Crossfire. She was picking up friends at the airport.
So, she comes by the office, trades vehicles, and gives me the keys to the Crossfire. I know she gave them to me.
Well, I'm in the midst of closing my brokerage and merging with RE/MAX Gulfstream Realty. My office is a mess as I pack and clean out junk I've accumulated the last 7 years. This evening I did some throw out several boxes of trash.
I was leaving the office about 8:45 p.m and couldn't find the keys to the Crossfire. I've looked everywhere that I can think. Maybe I threw them out with the trash. Maybe they are in the dumpster. Fortunately, my son was with me and he gave me a ride home.
It's 9:25 and I'm waiting for my wife to get home. She's gonna love this.
Where the %*#$@ are those keys? Is it the stress?
UPDATE 1/23/08: My wife got home last night and I told her I couldn't find the keys and that she would need to drive me to the office this morning. She was a little aggravated with me as you might expect.
Then she discovered that she had unconsciously picked up the keys when she left my office. She had the keys all the time. We had a good laugh!!

Dan - Yikes! I hope you find them. And yes, it is probably the stress.
