Not long ago, a reader asked me to define a “green” home.   After all this time, I realized thagreen built homes for sale Asheville NCt possibly I had  not done this…so here it is along with a sampling of Asheville, NC certified Green homes for sale in a market that is fast heating up.

5.Native vegetation (this can work to limit irrigation needs)


6.Enhanced indoor environments including indoor air quality (IAQ), moisture-resistant construction designed to control entry of radon and other soil gas and outdoor pollution sources

Well done!! I suspect there are many who, while they like the idea of being green really have no clear idea of what that means in terms of housing. Thanksfully there are realtors like you to help spread the word, AND we are seeing more and more builders who get it and support it.

Good post ! Ive even seen these communities offer a common organic garden space where all participate to help put food on eachothers plate ! You are a perfect role model for adhering to the principals and wholeness of this sytem from internal ( yourself ) to external (your surroundings )
