Fall Family Fun Festival, Titan Trot 5K & Fun Runs Planned for October 20

All area residents, families and visitors are invited to celebrate Fall at Lake Oconee with outdoor activities and fun for all on October 20. Start your day with a bang, take part in the first ever Titan Trot 5K race at 8:00 a.m. or join in the Fun Runs beginning at 9:30 a.m. Following the race is the first annual “Fall Family Fun” festival featuring bounce houses, dunking booth, hayrides, a pumpkin patch, food, carnival games and prizes. Festival activities will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Oconee Academy Campus on Carey Station Road.

Titan Trot runners will start the 5K race on Titan Circle in front of Lake Oconee Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20 and run an out & back route along West Lake Road. Onsite registration will be available at a cost of $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Fun Runs. Additional information is also available at www.lakeoconeeacademy.org under “Coming Events.”

The Fall Family Fun Festival will be held on the Lake Oconee Academy

at  baseball field from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate, and will be used for food, drinks, hayrides, and to play classic carnival games like the Cake Walk, Duck Pond, Football Toss, Balloon Darts and many more with prizes galore! Wristbands can be also be purchased at the gate, giving the wearer unlimited access to the Bounce House, Monster Slide and the ever popular Dunking Booth. Stop by to see who is in the tank!
