Hi All,

I recently had an appointment at a real estate agency to do a quick 30 minute presentation about my services. Well, when I got there the office was empty. Keep in mind I called the agent the day before to confirm and sent an email to the receptionist. What has been your experiences when setting these appointments and there is a no show?  Is it best to set them through the receptionist or with an actually agent. I called myself covering both area's with the call to the agent and the email to the receptionist. Later that day I called to re-schedule and to find out if there was a schedule conflict, and the problem was the agent had a meeting that ran over and the receptionist posted the reminder on there communication board at the office?????? So where were the other agents? Sounded like a brush off to me  and no one knew of the presentation. Just wondering what you think? I did re-schedule.

Much Success,

Amber Kincaid

Sometimes sales people get pushed off to make sales.  Sad but ture.  We are all in both businesses, buying and selling services.  Sometimes one gets valued higher and mistakes are made.  It's unfortunate, but we are all human.  Glad you gave them another chance.

I guess it all depends on the office you're dealing with. We constantly have well organized "lunch and learn" sessions in our training room at the office. It is a normal part of our training calendar and even a big part of our culture as a company.
