PUMPKIN PATCHES IN THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS ~ 2012

It is that GREAT PUMPKIN time of year in The Woodlands!  Pumpkin Patches are springing up all over the place!  Now is the time to take your little ones to scamper through a fun patch of pumpkins!

I just took my sweet Grandson over to Trader Joes where they had a little pumpkin patch.  You can see that he enjoyed himself!  I had fun as well!  :)

Here are some local pumpkin patches to visit:

7 Acre Wood

Location: 4401 North Frazier St., Conroe, TX 77303

Hours: Tuesday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-dusk
Sunday: noon-5 p.m.
Monday: closed

Admission: $6 per person (Babies under 18 months are free) Visit the petting zoo, mini golf course, western play town, play fort, huge playground, gigantic sandbox, zip line, sand volleyball, horseshoes and much more.


 

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm

Location: 7632 Spring Cypress Rd., Spring, TX 77379

Hours: Saturdays and Sundays in October from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Admission: $3 per person (Ages 2 and up) Kids activities include Train ride, hay ride, giant slide, obstacle course, and duck races. Activities require tickets, tickets cost $2 each. Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, pie pumpkins, gourds, indian corn, carving accessories, BBQ and other food items available for purchase.

 


 

Faith United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Location: 2403 Rayford Road, Spring, TX 77386

Hours: Sept. 26-Oct. 31, Monday-Saturday 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sundays 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

Join us for Storytime in the Pumpkin Patch on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Pumpkinfest will be held on Oct. 22 from 9-4 p.m. with a petty zoo, hay ride, train ride, craft vendors, bounce house and food. No cost to attend.

 


 

Christ Church United Methodist Pumpkin Patch

Location: 6363 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381

Hours: Open daily Oct. 15-31 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Thanks you guys.  And yes James, he did try and take a bite of this!  He had a funny look on his face after he did.  He did enjoy himself and I think today I will take him to a real patch!  That ought to be fun.
