Attracting What You Want Into Your Life

How is business? How are your personal relationships? How is your health? How is your peace of mind? How does the next year or two outlook feel to you?

Are you off track in many areas or feeling good about things? A lot of getting where you want to go is ATTRACTING an environment that will put you on the path of success.

Magnet FishingIt is somewhat akin to putting the RIGHT bait on the hook before you throw the line into the water. One type of fish takes one kind of bait or fishing technique, another fish something else. I remember catching catfish letting my line go to the bottom while other fish I would have to skim a silver shiny lure across the top of the water to attract them.

This thinking ahead with your aim helps. Think of women who keep dating players, or insensitive men who cheat. Do they not see that upfront with their backgrounds or scout it out rather quickly? Think in business where someone loves the entrepreneurial lifestyle but overanalyzes something to death, never plunging forward with all the mistakes that entails but the failures along the way will lead to success.

Associating with other "eagles" allows you to climb up high in the air and SOAR, not be down on the ground hopping around with the buzzards picking over a shared carcass.

YOU REALLY DO become what your dominant thoughts are that persist day after day. If you were assoicated with people who use drugs, even if friends, and you had no interest, eventually it would be bad for you in some form.

So three take away points:

  1. Set the stage with an environment of what is around you, a good setting, uplifting physical environment, high level friends and associates of like mind, and by synergy you will be much further along in getting where you want to go.
  2. Remember that idea of dominant thoughts taking you down paths. Don't want losers in your life? Go for people with character. If you are not a good judge of character ask your friends what they think about this person whether in business or personal. Once you got your dominant thoughts going the way you want them, keep them going daily with affirmations. Fake it to you make it. I AM the best professional in this office at what I do. I am worthy of not settling for this bozo person cause I am lonely and want the best relationship for ME.
  3. Finally, do not change your colors. Often to get what we want in business or with another person we adapt to WHO they are. The chameleon effect on the leaf or branch. BIG MISTAKE. Stay true to who you are. You will attract the right people and things into your life that mesh well with you. You won't feel the tension of being completely incompatible. Do some good self examination of who you are and meeting different people is fine, but they will be in your life if they have good tolerance with you, not some kind of oil and water don't mix feeling.

When you attract people and situations into your life that are a match and good for your future you will feel at peace, and your restlessness will be history.

Gary,

I was very positive on the first two questions, then...

Your three points are excellent advice! Excellent!

We find what we seek, in business, personally and we have only to look around us to see health and peace of mind are all in our head. As Cavit Robert said: "There, but for me go I."

Right now I seem to have a lot of people around me with health problems. I hope i can continue to still be supportive but get back to a full nights sleep. If I can't sleep, imagine how they feel. From a biopsy for throat cancer, stomach cancer, a rare virus contracted from a medicine take while fighting MS and colon cancer, those are 4 loved ones having a tough time. It puts things in perspective, that is for sure..
