My Favorite Halloween Costumes: #6 and #7Mrs Claus

OK, so this wasn't for Halloween, but it's still one of my all-time favorite costumes!

That's Rich in the Santa suit.  He's played Santa for the Town of Parker for 2 years and he'll be doing it again this year!  Of course, I'm Mrs. Claus.  

The little one in my lap is our youngest granddaughter, Baylee Kay. She was just 7 months when this photo was taken in 2009.

This year Rich will be Santa again and I'm debating whether or not I want to be Mrs. Claus or if I would rather be an elf.  We'll have the big Santa chair set up at the frozen yogurt shop, Swirls, in our building.  The local Chamber will have carriage rides on the Friday after Thanksgiving and then all the Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We'll be at Swirls to give out candy canes.

Valerie~ I do have fun dressing up.  I borrowed this Mrs. Claus costume.  I've been thinking about getting my own.  I could probably make one if I could find a red flannel nightgown!

Debbie R.~ I do like the Mr. and Mrs. part of it.  A friend of ours had a party at her house a few years ago and we went and gave out gifts to the kiddos that were there.  None of them were interested in me...just Santa!

Santa can make a great Halloween costume if you dirty up the beard and make him look creepy....my daughter was a psycho santa one year.  LOL!

Hi Bob~ Rich won't actually BE Santa until Thanksgiving has come and gone, but you HAVE to advertise early so folks can make plans.  Kids have to make their lists and mail their letters!
