This time of year it can be hard to find anything in the produce section which looks worth eating.
Let us remind you of the fresh stuff you can find at the Corvallis Farmer's Markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We have quite a movement toward growing, buying and eating local food. And it makes sense both for your health and for supporting local growers.
In addition to great vegetables and fruits, the markets offer fresh cut flowers and even some nursery plants. If there is anything growing in our area, this is the place to find it. All of this at 1st and Jackson Streets. Don't be surprised to see dogs, food sampling and musicians setting up for some live entertainment. Albany has farmer's markets too. See below for specifics.
