One of the Most Useful Technology Purchases

One of my most useful technology purchases has been electronic fax. I use Send2Fax, but I know there are several other companies out there. The faxes come straight to my email, where I can email them to clients, title companies, etc,, or send them as a fax from my computer without ever needing to print. It's good piece of mind, too, to know that if a hard copy gets misplaces, I still have the one in my email and/or saved in the property file on my hard drive.

I just took an updated tech class and they said this is a very important addition to your business.  They mentioned Metro whis can be found at www.metrohispeed.com.  Will look at the difference in costs, etc.  Thanks for the post.

Cathy - You are so right about the electronic fax system.  I use MyFax.com.  I was able to get a toll-free number.  It cost me $10 a month and I use it every single day.  When I have something to send anyone, I fax it to my toll-free number, then forward it to as many email addresses as I want.  It gives me a better record of delivery than a fax and can easily be resent if someone claims that it was not recieved.  It is a fabulous system.

I scan most of my paperwork and then email it off.  If I get a fax I scan that.  Probably would be easier to get an online fax for 10 bucks a month.

I started with Myfax.com about a year ago and still feel that it was a great move. I agree with your reasons and would add that the document doesn't loose quality when you send it like it does with a fax machine.
