Will I go through withdrawal?

By
Home Stager with Staged to Sell

Today I go in for shoulder surgery, and one of my major worries is, how will I blog on AR?  My arm will be in a sling for 2 weeks and I'm worried I'll go through AR withdrawal!  Hopefully I will make a speedy recovery so I can get right back to it.  Make sure you all blog a little extra for me because I'll still be reading all your blogs.  Not being able to work or drive will make me crazy and I'll need to go on AR everyday to pass the time!  Thanks to all who have wished me well and I'll be blogging again soon!

Perhaps you should invest in some voice-to-text software so you can just speak your blog. :)

Best of look with your surgery.

The Shoulder is the body's most complex joint and you may be prescribed vicodin, percocet, or some other narcotic pain reliever for post-surgical pain.  I have frozen shoulder(s) going on two years now - and during the freezing stage I took 2 vicodins per day (occasionally 3) and was surprised at how my body developed dependence on a low dose over not that long of time.  Good luck with surgery.

I wish you the best in your surgery today.  Try not to focus on AR so that you won't think about what you're possibly missing! You'll be whole again in no time and back to two-handed typing before you know it!

I think the pain killers they give you will help with the withdrawals as well as the pain.  : )  Good luck on your surgery!  Make sure you take advantage of the rest time.  It makes the most difference in the healing process, I believe.

Diana,

I wish you the very best with your surgery!  Also, you have built into your operating system some sort of software pre-installed that will let you talk the words onto the screen for you!  I'm not sure what it is but I've seen it done.  Hopefully this helps!
