You will be remembered for your service to others!
A note from our son Sebastian who recently graduated from Navy basic training and is currently at school in Florida...
So as my friends and I were walking out of the fair I saw an old feller with a cane that looked like Santa Claus and I couldn't help to see that he had a hard time walking. Also he had to tow a dolly with a heavy bag that was slowing him down more than anything....I don't know what it was but I just had to help this man.
I walked up to him and said " Excuse me sir, could I take that bag and help you to your car?" And he replied "Are you heading that way" and I replied Ya and so we walked a little ways down the parking lot and when we reached his car. He extended his hand and we made eye contact and looked straight into me and he replied "Thank you so much son and are you in the service?" And I replied "Yes I am sir and take care" and he just smiled and gave me a thumbs up....that was the best night I've had in Florida and in along time period.
I don't know about you guys but helping elders and whoever is in need of helping is a great feeling and I'm encouraging everyone to do it more often. Have a great night, God bless.
We are so very proud of the young man he has become and look forward to his visit in November before he travels to his duty station in Hawaii.
