Common Man Restaurant in Downtown Claremont New Hampshire, folks whether if you live in New Hampshire, Vermont or might be going to visit or relocating to the area, the Common Man Restaurant sure does offers folks mighty fine dining for their enjoyment.

The Common Man Restaurant of Claremont, is located in the Historic Monadnock Mills Buildings along the bank of the Sugar River which flows through Claremont, New Hampshire. The Mills is register with the National Register on Historic Places. The Common Man Restaurant is located at 21 Water Street in Claremont, New Hampshire. A bit of the Construction History of The Monadnock Mills Buildings, this District of buildings are between Water Street and the Sugar River, the Monadnock Mills District is made up of a laine of Connected Red-Brick Factory Buildings, which is approximately 575 feet in length. The buildings date back to 1837, Mill No.2 was original constructed back in 1853 at a time when the Monadnock Mill Company was undergoing a considerable expansion.

Common Man Restaurant in Downtown Claremont New Hampshire, Mill No.2 building is four and one-hafe stories high, it is topped by a steep-pitched slate roof, punctured by an elongated trap-door monitor of the type which is commonly found in New England Textile Mills of the day. Attached to the front facade of the building is a stair tower. Along the ridgepole of the roof are metal ventilators, which were added in the Twentieth Century. The windows are all 12/12 double sash, and feature granite lintels and sills. Attached to the rear facade of the building is a large flat-roofed six-story ell which was constructed in 1912, its evident that it replaced a wooden water-closet tower and a small boiler house from insurance plans from 1909.

The ground broking in order to start the careful restoration to put the Common Man Restaurant in the building started on the 28th of May and open the doors of the Restaurant and served their first guests on the 12th of June 2009. The Common Man Restaurant opened in the Woven Label Building and sits across a landscaped courtyard. The Common Man Restaurant comfort food selections include their Famous Prime Ribs, their Famous Crab Cakes, which have been voted Best of New Hampshire seven years in a row by the readers of New Hampshire Magazine! and their Homemade Baked Macaroni and Cheese.

Common Man Restaurant in Downtown Claremont New Hampshire, folks are able to enjoy Lunch or Dinner in the main dining area or in their lounge area. Folks can take a seat on one of their cozy lounge chairs or couches to relax before dinner with a beverage and parlor games they put out for folks to enjoy. During the warmer Months, folks are able to enjoy dining on the Restaurant's brick patio that overlooks the rushing Falls of the Sugar River. They serve lunch Monday thorough Saturday between the hours of 11:30 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. they also have a lighter fare from their grill menu which is served between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M.

They serve dinner Monday thorough Thursday between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M., on Friday and Saturday folks are able to enjoy dinner between the hours of 4:30 P.M. 9:30 P.M. On Sunday's they serve their brunch specials and their full menu between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. The lounge is open between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M. in the lounge folks can order from their lighter grill menu between the hours of 9:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M.
