City of Gaithersburg Weather-related Cancellations and Notices
 
Liberal leave is in effect for non-essential City of Gaithersburg personnel on Monday, Oct. 29.

Notifications for Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 29 and 30:

- It is anticipated that the Activity Center at Bohrer Park will be opened on Monday as one of Montgomery County's regional shelters, operated by the American Red Cross. Details will be posted as available.

- Senior and Youth Centers closed.

- Activity Center opening at 8 a.m. except when activated as an emergency shelter

- All morning, afternoon and evening classes, activities and sports are cancelled. Water Exercise Classes held at the Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club are also cancelled for today.

-Other City facility closures and meeting statuses will be determined on Monday, Oct. 29.

-The City has cancelled recycling and leaf pick up for Monday and Tuesday. Pick ups for later in the week will be assessed pending weather conditions.

Any additional notices will be posted on the City website at http://www.gaithersburgmd.gov

Roy, I will pray that the storm isn't as bad as the predictors say!    The airlines here in Denver have already announced cancellations.
