12 Comments on Not So Speechless Sunday -- What I Learned From My Dog
Carla...I think I love Molly...I'm a sucker for dogs with smart eyes. Yes, we need to cut sellers a little slack. If you haven't even noticed Ms Molly's ears then how can the seller notice dust bunnies and knickknacks?
Hi Mona . . . Exactly! Stop and smell the roses, and stop to notice what we might be overlooking It was a real "eye-opener" for me, on a lot of levels ;-)
That is interesting, Carla. I actually didn't see it until you mentioned it, funnily enough.
I had to go back and look for it after I read your post. And you're right... it IS adorable! ♥
Carla this happens all the time with most of us! Just recently we realized a couple of very simple ideas around the house.....after almost 15 years. Hello!!! And... you're little darling is adorable and so sweet looking!
Very true, Carla! And Molly is adorable!
Carla, Definitely some home owner blind spots. We were in our own home for quite awhile before I noticed certain things that weren't quite right. The trim not covering the bottom edge of the drywall in the guest bath, the crooked electrical outlet cover in the kitchen. It's that kind of natural blindness that makes part of the listing agent's To Do list so critical.
And our Chihuahua's ears are both on high alert :)
Carla, loved the picture and Molly looks like charmer...
Had to put our oldest dog down saturday and never thought it would be so hard...kiss Molly for me.
Eve
What an adorable pooch! Our pets can teach us a lot. Right now, my beagle is teaching me about how to handle the approach of Hurricane Sandy.
Hi Carla,
all starts with the look of (in) the eyes...Molly is cute...and the epiphamy is valid...there' s always mysteries to be had...especially in the real estate trenches of life. Thanks a bunch for sharing.
Hi Jane . . . yes, and imagine my "duh" moment, oy vey! In plain sight, as that saying goes ;-)
Hey Joni -- (I like your new photo!) and we can overlook so much, can't we?
Hi DeeDee . . . thanks!
Hey Anna B -- I'm teling you, that in plain sight is a real hoot!
Hi BLiz . . . "owner blind spots" that's a good one! And, a good way to explain your recommendations at the listing appointment. Sounds reasonabe, 'cause we all have them . . . hmmmmmmm, case in point.
Hey Eve -- I'm sorry to read about your dog. :-(
Hi Kathryn . . . Kinda laying low I see
Hey Peter -- yes, the light bulb sure went on for me. What else am I missing!
She is a very wise looking dog. And beautiful, as well!
