Encroachment

When we parked our car and departed for an entertainment event, we made the assumption that we would be able to get back into it when we returned.  You know what they say about assumptions.

We had a lovely time at the game.  It lasted a long time and the walk back was especially long.  One could say that we were thoroughly worn out when we saw our car again.

Instead of being able to get in and go, we were faced with a dilemma.  The how to get the door open enough to accomplish entry was a serious challenge.

Yes we could have rammed the door into the truck that had parked way over the line.  We could have, but having been raised to be civilized prevented that option.

As you can imagine, re entering the car was a combination of contortions and wiggles.  Thankfully Ralph is not very wide, and he is nimble.  Otherwise we would have had to wait for this truck owner to come back and move his encroachment.

There is something basically wrong with the attitude that allowed this to happen.  Where is common courtesy?

I get what you're saying.  We have to leave the meat but put just enough fluff to grab the attention of the perfect buyer.  Sometimes that can be a fine line.  Sounds like you pulled it off wonderfully.  Let us know when this home is under contract.

Thanks for sharing your story.  Many of us have shared this kind of experience.

In Maryland, we are in a storm watch mode and are expecting the hurricane to hit our area in a few hours.  The storm is currently pounding the coastal area.
