Dear Lord, Please Protect The People In The Northeast From The Storm

Praying with you on this one, Mike that all are kept safe and out of harm's way - to let the wind out of the sail.

Prepare for the storm and stay inside afterwards. MOre people are killed in the after time, then during a storm. Downed wires are the number one reason.

Lord, we need your help to protect all the people who are currently in the path. As your apostles in the first century asked that you quiet the storm, we too ask that you quiet this storm. Lord we know that with you all things are possible and we also know that you are the same yesterday, today and forever. Lord we love you and thank you!

Prayers are needed as this is going to be a bad one

Looks like I will be at "ground zero" for landfall of this storm...I have family and friends up and down the coast, from N.C. to Maine...thanks for your thoughts.

I ask the Lord to also give an extra bit of common sense for the overly brave.

Thoughts and more importantly prayers to all those in the path. I can't imagine a COLD WEATHER hurricane.

I hope people have fled before the storm. Even if it turns it be not as bad as expected, better safe than sorry.

I couldn't agree with your prayer more, Mike, but it looks like it won't be turning aside and the East Coasters will have to ride it out.

Mike- Although the storm was bad, it could have been much worse. 

Thank God for the prayers for all of our fellow Americans who are suffering due to this storm.

Mike-That's a very thoughful piece. I too am hoping that the suffering will be minimal and people will be able to put their lives back together as much as possible.
