if it were on your door?
There are a lot of clever ways to get your target audience to open your advertisement. I saw this hanging from the door of a vacant condo; it was flipped with the word “confidential” facing inward. I show the lettering and become curious to see what confidential information was left on the vacant unit. I saw that it was just some advertising, but it did get me to open it.

Have you seen any clever door advertising?
not sure that I'd touch it, looks obvious that is it just another ad or solicitation.
All envelops from banks with 'great offers' come with a line 'confidential' on it .....i just shred them.
Agreed * very clever; however, once it was opened it would probably become trash which the HOA needs to stop with NO SOLICITING signage.
Tom, Very similar in some ways to much of the junk mail we get, always some "come on" statement to try to get you to think it's something legitimate that it's not. I don't know whether to think it's good advertising, or be irritated at the attempted deception.
I hate this sort of advertising. It's so annoying. It may get you to open it, but it makes you mad, so negative for the brand's equity.
THAT is the same envelope style used by a mortgage company to get the home owner in arrears to call.
I've seen them on several Short Sale homes listed for sale.

It's a total waste of the trees. Only redeeming thing about is the paper can be recycled.
