The Grove Arts & Craft Faire is Coming Soon to Glenview!

The Grove Arts & Craft Faire is coming soon to Glenview! It's right around the corner on November 1st through the 4th and the following week on November 8th through the 11th, 2012. Hours on Thursdays and Fridays are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and hours on Saturdays and Sundays run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Faire is located at The Grove National Historic Landmark at 1421 Milwaukee Avenue in Glenview. For more info, you can contact them at 847-299-6096. Adult admission is $5 while kids get in for only $1! Get an additional $1 off your admissions here.

This is the 27th annual Arts & Craft Faire, with many American handmade items for sale by over 50 juried artisans. You'll see crafts, gifts, home accessories, seasonal decor, jewelry, personalized items, and lots of gourmet and baked items to suit every taste. What a great way to get a head-start on your Christmas shopping for this year.

For eating lunch, dinner, or just a snack, you'll want to plan some time at the Sugar Plum Cafe, located in the Program Barn. If you'd like to take some special treats home with you, check out the Gingerbread House in the Interpretive Center for home-baked items and gourmet goodies.

Parking is free at this event and most areas, including restrooms and paths, are handicap-accessible. This event is jointly sponsored by The Grove Heritage Association and the Glenview Park District. If you'd like, you can learn more about The Grove and its 136-acre nature and historic site.

If you're unable to get all the shopping done you'd like, The Grove Holiday Store, located in the Kennicott House, will continue to sell handmade crafts and baked goods from November 23rd to December 23rd. Parking and admission to the store are both free! Hours are Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
