This weekend gone, my wife's Prudential office decided to have an office Chili Cook-off. It was also four of the agents birthdays. The broker of this office is a friend of ours and knowing that my wife can work a miricle in the kitchen, asked if she could make a cake at short notice. My wife said she was sure she could do something, but given the time constriants, was not sure what she could do.

Well eight busy hours later, this appeared;

Prudential Birthday Cake

I was pretty impressed and so was everybody at the Chili cook off.

My wife reckons that it could have been better given a few more hours.

Looks great and delish!  My husband has done cakes like this for me before too!  He once did a cake celebrating the Army's 200th birthday (I believe?).  They carried it in like a casket!  Kind of eery I know, but it was 16 sheet cakes and weighed a ton!!! Leave it up to the Army to find a create way to use their Honor Guard. I wish I could find the photo!  If I do, I will be sure to post!
