2. MyPLACE SPORTS BAR AND ITALIAN GRILL http://www.myplace-austin.com/austin-sports-bar.html
MyPlace, located in the former Bellagio Italian Bistro space, is a new concept from owner Linda Bernardone and her team that has been serving fine Italian dining in NW Austin for the last 10 years. Having been customers of traditional sports bars all over the customers, they listened to their regulars and created what they call an upscale “Sports lounge” environment offering a comfortable, friendly and casual atmosphere. There’s a larger bar area that seats over 20, a conversation area that features comfortable sofas, free WI-FI, 12 50”+ HDTVs for fans of every sport (NFL Ticket, MLB,NBA and NCAA and the Horns games!). Owner Linda says her vision for the restaurant was to have an atmosphere that resembled Sunday afternoon at home: football games, cocktails and good food. Some of the food you’ll find at MyPlace includes delicious pizza, Calamari, Spicy sausage and penne, chicken piccata and New England fish and chips. You’ll also find weekly specials including cheesesteaks with provolone and pulled pork with cole slaw. Happy hour is not to be missed where you’ll find classic cocktails & specialty martinis such as Lemon drop martinis, Cosmos, Orange creamsicles, Pometinis, Chocolate cake martinis and more! At MyPlace they want to treat you like an owner (so you can say it’s “myplace”) and look forward to making you a regular “where everybody knows your name”!
