Chris Wechner to Demo Posting to Craiglist at Local Detroit College

Many Detroit businesses are not sure how to market their businesses.  They think that it is expensive to advertise.  Chris Wechner of The Ultimate Analyst will present how to market inexpensively at a Detroit college on Thursday, 11/8/12 at 4PM. 

Detroit, MI – While many Detroit Area businesses are starting to rebound from the tough economy, many small businesses are struggling, still.  Many of these businesses are cash-strapped and cannot afford many different forms of advertising they desperately need.  Chris Wechner of The Ultimate Analyst will be presenting a demonstration, “Marketing Your Business with No Money and Next-to-No Computer Skills” in the Cooper Room of the Eastern Campus of the Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Chris Wechner, Director of Marketing at The Ultimate Analyst, remarked, “A lot of people think that marketing online is really hard and expensive.  Certainly, there are some online marketing methods that are costly and require a high level of technical or writing skill, but not classified ads.  Classified ads are great, because they are so easy to do, even for people who don’t know very much about computers.  When someone asks me to show them how to market online, I usually direct them to classified ads first.  I use plenty of other ways to market myself and my clients, but classified ads are easy to learn and do.  Everyone should be taking advantage of classified ads.”

While all business owners need to watch their finances, Detroit small business owners that are struggling really need to watch where their dollars are going.  However, Chris thinks that many small businesses just do not know that there are free resources for marketing that are easy to use.

Chris explains, “There are so many classified ad sites where people can post their services and products for free, they really don’t have any excuse at all.  Posting to classified ad sites is easy to do, and it’s free, most of the time.  I’m looking forward to showing people how easy it is to get started.”

The event is part of an entire evening of internet marketing speakers and activities at the college.  The overall event will run from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and Chris will speak from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
