We had a lot of fun trick or treating on Wednesday night.  Renton's first Halloween wasn't candy field, but he did lap up the ohs and ahs that were handed out by our neighbors as we made our rounds and spread some cuteness around the neighborhood.

I did pretty well myself.  While we were out saying our hellos, I got 2 referrals.  Don't you just love that.

"Knock, knock -Treat or Treat."

"Ah, what a cute little lion. Oh, by the way I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and he needs some help.  You should give him a call, let me give you his number."

We should go trick or treating more often.

It got me thinking about when I get referrals.  I almost never get a call out of the blue from someone telling me they have a friend in need.  It is always happens when I bump into someone at an event or around town.

It is the true power of top of mind awareness.
