October 2011 to October 2012
Looking at the chart below it appears that Northwest Indiana is holding well in the current market conditions. Thirteen cities/towns were looked at and compared for home sales in October 2011 to October 2012.
There were 11 cities/towns that saw an increase in home sales comparing October 2011 to October 2012.
There were 8 cities/towns that saw a decrease on days on the market (DOM) for homes sold.
There were 8 cities/towns that saw a decrease in the sold prices. So over all in Northwest Indiana more homes were sold this year but the prices those homes sold for was down.
