Ahhh, the Greatest Spectacle is Near - The Superbowl!

January 23, 2008. Corpus Christi - Padre Island. By: Mr. C. KIM McGuire, RE/MAX Realtor

This is for ActiveRain.com member Alan Kirkpatrick (a Dallas fan) and all New England and other football team fans.

Though Dallas had a great year, they just came short against the New York Giants. Maybe next year Dallas. And what about New Englant Patriots. What an amazing year going undeafeated - So Far? Wait, here comes the Giants!

Yup, the Giants are rolling to a Superbowl near your large LCD screen TV's. And, the game will be on our 60" Sony Bravia too. Though the Patriots have gone undefeated and is claimed to be one of the greatest teams of all time for such a feat, we have to take into consideration that they've had some very close games, especially against the Giants at the end of the season.

The Patriots are on cloud nine wanting to win the Superbowl of course. But, there must be many players thinking beyond that... going completely undefeated. Now, that's where the Patriot's weakness will be. Thinking past winning the great Superbowl! And on top of that, they have on their shoulders and psych that they were almost beaten by the Giants in their last game. Ahhh, so much on their minds.

For the Giants, they have ONLY the Superbowl to win and the admiration of New Yorkers like myself (now living on N. Padre Island, TX) and Wall Street. Wall Street loves a winner, especially in a psychological mayhem market with the economy.

The Giants aren't thinking about anything else besides winning the Superbowl. And they know that they can do it because they almost beat New Englant the last time around. This time is it baby! Second time is a charm. As Frank Sinatra and Telly Savalas would say, "Who loves you baby?"

For all you www.ActiveRain.com members, I'm taking side bets for your ActiveRain points. I'm wagering 10,000 points on the Giants. Final Score:  27 NY....  24 NE.

Kim:

I thought we were friends. Oh well, I guess when it comes to football we will have to be rivals. I would be willing to wager with you but as I said earlier, It would not surprise me at all to see the Giants win. They got hot at the right time. But remember during the regular season the Cowboys handled them twice. Only a few plays seperated many teams from the Super Bowl. But I do not want to ARAIN on your parade. Congrats.
