Living in Bergen County, New Jersey...I thought country dancing was only a Southern and Western thing. Boy was I wrong! Here in Bergen County, this Sunday, January 27th, the North Jersey English Country Dancers welcome newcomers to their Sunday dance from 2 to 5PM at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood. All dances will be taught and the music is live, so come on down and get ready to dance the night away! This is a great idea and maybe I'll even make a guest apperance and learn how to doe-si-doe!
I never knew country dancing was so popular in the Northeast. Any country dancers out there that have any advice?
