Mona, this time you were at the right place at the right time. Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your day!
Wayne, there has to be some advantages for being an early riser, right?
Roger, way cool is right...34 degrees and no jacket...all in the pursuit of art, lol.
Yes, it is beautiful...it is always about being able to be in the moment... isnt it ! Enjoy your weekend..
Thank you Michele and this sunrise was an excellent start to the weekend.
Good Morning Mona, Great picture, timing is everything. Just think, with the hour time change we can catch more sunrises.
That is worth framing and hanging.....not just here. Thanks for sharing that beauty with us this morning! Amazing that you caught it!
Hello Mona,
I have sat on the deck and literally watched a sunrise or sunset change as I was sitting there. It's gone in an instant.
Thanks for sharing the shots. good capture.
Best, Clint McKie
Good morning Mona. What a fabulous photo. X does mark the spot and to have captured and shared it is very special. Enjoy the day.
I know exactly what you mean and it happened just the other day. We had heavy rains for days and finally the sun broke out. The fall leaves were on fire with color and as I rushed home to grab Molly to go to the park and take some pics, the clouds moved back in. Grrrrrrr . . . I'm glad you were more successful with your "Kodak" moment ;-
I find sometimes I just want to remember those moments and not capture a digital image. Seems I feel more like that when I'm sharing the moment with someone else.
Hi everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed the photo.
Will, that's the more positive way to think about the time change instead of thinking about how early the daylight ends.
Ron, you should see the ones I didn't have the camera for.
Clint, thanks and sometimes it is all about just watching.
Sheila, thank you and I hope you are catching some nice sunrises too.
Carla, I've had more GRRRR moments than I care to remember.
Tammy, I would have to say that there are more moments in my mind than on the camera!
Mona- beautiful photo that was framed well as well. Sometimes you just have to stand back and enjoy the moment. I'm glad you also got to take the photo so you could share it with us.
So beautiful. The colors and light are certainly great moments to save. Thanks for starting my day out with a smile. Have a wonderful day.
Kathy, coming from a stager...your compliment on the framing is appreciated! Thanks so much.
Cheryl, I like people to start out with a smile...sort of gives them a running start on the day.
Mona, how true! I remember sitting a front porch in Maine this past summer talking to an old friend and the sun was setting over Moose Pond. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I ever saw. I had my camera in hand but I didn't want to be rude to my friend who was telling me a personal story and needed a shoulder to cry on. I know I told her that if she just looked over her shoulder, she'd see a bright and beautiful sunset - she wasn't interested.
I missed the sunset that day. You're so right, nothing lasts forever! But I'm glad you captured that one! It's a beauty. Thank you for sharing the photos and such wise words.
Quick to see quick to shoot and quickly gone.
Con-trails are fun to watch as the planes form them.
Patricia, being a friend to someone you care about obviously trumped what was happening in the sky. Thank you for seeing this sunset.
Than, I hardly ever see the trails in the sunrises or sunsets and it sure did work out for the photo.
