Today was a wonderful day working with some very nice people. My Partner, Lisa, and I met with three couples today and had a very enjoyable day of showing homes.
First, we met with a couple from Pittsburgh with a freshman son who loves to play soccer and will be attending Rice High School. The husband got a fantastic job promotion and is very excited about starting his new position in this beautiful state. We looked at nine properties in Burlington, Williston, Shelburne and Charlotte.
Next, we met with a young couple who are married just a few years. They have a ten month old little boy and are excited to purchase a home with a nice back yard to enjoy playing in with their son. We showed them homes in Essex and South Burlington because of the excellent schools.
Lastly, we met with a very young couple - a boyfriend and girlfriend who will be moving in together and beginning a new life together. We showed them a beautifully restored vintage home which was recently renovated into condos. It had twelve foot ceilings and voluminous windows with beautiful hardwood floors. They are considering offering on it.
Tomorrow morning, we will be meeting with a 72 year old woman who is looking to purchase her dream home on the lake. At age 72, she hikes mountains three days per week - God bless her!
Yesterday, we visited with a couple whose new home we closed on in Williston on Friday. Lisa and I brought over apple cider and apple cider donuts from Cold Hollow Cider Mill and visited with the proud new owners. This couple is moving here from New Jersey as they are retiring. We had a very enjoyable visit and could just sense their energy and enthusiasm. They were so vibrant and happy - loving their new home and their new neighborhood.
It is so very rewarding helping people in all stages of their lives. There is nothing more rewarding than helping people build a life and make memories in a home - realizing The Great American Dream!
