Fossil Springs has two major subdivisions in Helotes, TX just off FM 1560 or Hausman Road. One is Fossil Springs Ranch and the other one is Fossil Springs. The two principal home builders in these two communities were Lennar Homes and Cornell Barron.

Homes in these two communities range in price from $230,000 to $420,000, and vary in size from approximately 2400 to 3800 square feet of living space. Some of the amenities include neighborhood swimming pool, club house, sports court, park/play ground, and jogging trails.

There are presently only 6 Homes For Sale in Fossil Springs, and only 2 homes sold during the month of October 2012. The average list price for those active homes is $354,000, and the cumulative days on market for active homes was 184 days. However, the average sold price for those two closings was $372,500, and the cumulative days on market was only 95 days. What is cumulative days on market?  Glad you asked. Our local MLS board has stated that any listing must be off the market for 180 consecutive days, before the time on market goes back to zero days.
