C  You don’t need a horse to live in

Greenstone Country in Placerville, CA  C

I don’t own a horse, but many of the rural homeowners in Placerville, CA do. There are large communities that cater to those who enjoy a private community that offers amenities especially for the horse owner. Greenstone horseshoe prints in dirtCountry in Placerville, CA is one of the largest horse property communities in El Dorado County. Miles of horse trails, a riding arena, and lots that are perfect for those with horses.

There are walking trails too; several miles of beautiful, quiet trails that meander through the large private community. It’s hard sometimes to tell which of the trails are for horses and which are for the humans. One of the key signs can be found in the dirt – horseshoe prints! I happened to see a bunch of shoeprints, it made me think about the differences in the trails.

After walking many of the trails, but human and horse, it has become clear how I can tell the difference. The horse trails are much more difficult to walk on foot. Steep terrain, creek crossings, and of course the horseshoe prints are a good sign.

If you are a horse owner, or someone interested in living in a horse community, consider what Greenstone Country has to offer. Call your local Realtor and schedule an appointment to see Greenstone Country for yourself.

Tom, even though you don't "need" a horse to live in Greenstone Country, it sure makes the monthly HOA dues easier to swallow if you benefit from using the amenities geared towards equestrians! It is a lovely community, for both humans and horses alike. :)
