It is almost here and the anticipation is mounting! Saturday's Pirate Invasion will be followed by the Gasparilla Parade, which will start at 2 in the afternoon. The parade route will start on Bayshore Blvd at the Bay to Bay intersection and travel down Bayshore and into downtown Tampa.
There will also be the usual street festival with live entertainment and plenty of food and drinks. The Navy Band Southeast Jazz Ensemble and various hard rock and pop bands will be performing on stage. The stage will be located on the corner of Florida Avenue and Jackson Street in downtown Tampa.
