Hillsboro is 30 miles North of Waco. Hillsboro is known as the Antique Capitol of I-35. Hill County is home of several lakes all perfect for recreation, Lake Whitney to the West, Navarro Mills Lake in the Southeast and Aquilla Lake in the Southwest. A famous Hill County person is Willie Nelson; Willie grew up in Abbott and can frequently be seen in and around Hillsboro and Abbott.
