Saturday, November 17th- 7am - Noon
If you go downtown Livermore early on this particular Saturday morning, what a sight you’ll see. Shoppers in their PJ’s, sipping beverages and having one heckuva time going to store-to-store for a jump on their holiday shopping.
I went last year, and it was really a fun event. The restaurants in town love us – a quick coffee and pastry at Peet’s Coffee, Panama Bay, CC French Bakery. Or go all out with a full breakfast at First Street Alehousehttp://www.firststreetalehouse.com/, the Riata Tavern, Robek’s or Casse Croute Bakery
Always cooperative with neighboring Pleasanton, they too will host their 3rd annual event by the same name. So go to both for twice the fun. Merchants have embraced this unique event as a way to encourage shoppers to start early in the season. You’ll find delectable treats and shopping specials at many of the stores.
Those who actually come out in their PJ’s (and there are a lot of them!), are entitled to a free “messenger bag” for your part in shopping local.
