Sea turtles getting some sun at Hookipa Beach Park, north shore Maui

I would have missed them if somebody hadn't pointed them out.  Don't they just look like part of the landscape?

I guess they are making a strong comeback and in the evening you can see a number of these sea turtles coming ashore to spend the night!

Sussie - there were only 2 in this picture.  We didn't wait around to see more come out.  I think the turtles were waiting for all the peoople to leave!

Hi Georgina, I just got back from a Panama Canal cruise and I saw the sea turtles floating in the ocean on our sea days. Your picture is great and all I can think of is "Isn't mother nature wonderful that she can camoflauge they turtles amongst the rocks".
