The Street Where You Live - A Series Whose Time is Come

‘The Street Where You Live’ is a favorite song of mine from the musical My Fair Lady. I decided now will be a great time to write a blog series with ‘The Street Where You Live’ as the central theme.

To give you a flavor of what is to come, the streets are all located in Eastchester, NY with homes, town houses and cooperative apartments built around Lake Innisfree; also known as Lake Isle. The detached homes are in Lake Isle Estates and many are located directly on Lake Innisfree or the golf course at Lake Isle Country Club. The town houses were built in the 1980’s and feature a guarded/gated community with a private pool situated on Lake Innisfree. There are two garden cooperative apartment complexes that share a private beach on the lake; Interlaken Gardens and Channing Place.

Each community offers something different and shares some things. Lake Isle Estates, Interlaken Gardens and Channing Place have private beaches and racks for small boats. All Eastchester residents have Lake Isle Town Park with tennis courts, an 18 hole golf course and 5 swimming pools; two kiddy pools, an Olympic size pool, diving pool and dedicated senior pool.  A charming town just north of Manhattan, residents can easily commute into Grand Central Station from the Crestwood Station in about 30 minutes. A special feature for commuters are rush hour trains that start in Crestwood for the morning commute. They are literally waiting at the station in the morning giving the commuter the opportunity to get a seat and enjoy a relaxing commute into work.

Please join us as we take a tour of each street in these communities. Thank you. We look forward to sharing this journey with you.

What a great idea for a series.  Oh, and I love that song!  When you do the series, be sure to put the name of the street in the title for the best SEO.  And, you can do a google map for the stree too for better SEO.

Thanks Debbie! I planned to have the street in the title and didn't think about the Google map - great idea!
