Be Thankful Challenge Day 9: Today I am thankful for inspiration.

Food Drive Display at the Riverside BankAfter what happened to me last night at Dollar General, I am especially thankful for inspiration. Yesterday’s random act of kindness inspired me to really get out and get this food drive going. While I was out setting up a food drive display at the Riverside Bank, my managing broker made a trip to Dollar General to pick up some items for his donation. While he was checking out, the lady behind him asked what he was going to do with all of those crackers and jelly. He told her about my peanut butter that I bought for the food drive and explained that he got some crackers and jelly to go with my peanut butter. She thought that was pretty cool and handed him $10 to get more food. He bought some chili to go with the crackers. ☺

Another stranger... another random act of kindness.

Michael Thornton commented on my post yesterday that God works in mysterious ways. Boy is he right! I was amazed last night. IMAGINE my surprise when Gary came in and said.... “You’re never going to believe what just happened to me....”

Inspired? You bet I am!!

I am glad that you are inspired to collect food for needy families.  You are setting a good example for all real estate professionals.

Our office, RE/MAX Realty Group is trying to collect a ton of food for the local food bank.

Have an outstanding weekend.  Enjoy the colors of the season with your camera in hand.

We live in such a wonderful country. It always amazes me to see how folks can come together and share with others  less fortunate.  MANY JUST DOING A LITTLE goes a long way.
