One of my precious kiddos has been battling with anxiety for the past several weeks. For the most part, the anxiety has been a morning thing, and some mornings are worse than others. It is so hard as a mom to watch your children go through a difficult period and not be able to help.
God knows our frame; He understands our weaknesses. So His Word speaks to us about anxiety and fear. God is good to give us not only His Word but Himself as well. He is available 24/7 for us.
But God realizes sometimes we need someone to relate to--someone who has walked in our shoes, who has been where we've been and come through ok on the other end. I am SO thankful for the timely message (actually a series of messages) by Louie Giglio that our family listened to via the internet. During the message, Louie discusses his own personal struggles with anxiety. It was SO good for my child to hear "You are not alone, and there is hope." Click here to hear the messages dated 10/14/12, 10/21/12, and 10/28/12.
Whether you yourself are struggling with anxiety or know someone who is, I highly encourage you to check out these sermons!!
